Wooden Gates Waiuku is New Zealand's premier manufacturer of wooden gates and fences with a proven reputation for quality and service. Additionally we manufacture a wide range of quality solid timber products, many of which are featured on this website.
Finishes
Depending on the timber type being used, the gates can either be left natural- "naked” (cedar or kwila) or finished in a stain or paint. The type of finish needs to be specified at the outset.

Timbers available
The selection of timber to be used depends on the required look and finish of the gates.
Timber is a natural product and has an inherent beauty and feel that cannot be achieved with other products such as aluminium or steel.
With today’s technology and manufacturing techniques we can guarantee gates built to our specifications against excessive movement, dropping or sagging. You can expect some minor timber movement as this is part of the product’s natural beauty. This is also frequently the case with steel and aluminium gates exposed to the elements.- heat, cold, dry and wet changing conditions.
Installation Service
We can either arrange the installation for you, or provide advice regarding the installations of gates, fences and hardware.
Automation
All of the gates on this website can be automated either at time of installation, or retro fitted after. If the gates are automated later, some of the hardware used for manual operation will become redundant.
